Brief History in the Words of Rev & Mrs Krupanand
We are grateful to God for 40 Years of AME ZION Church in INDIA. Though, the ministry of AME Zion Church in India had started in 1981 which officially makes it 40 years of long journey. In addition, in the count of the number of Annual Conferences, which was started by Bishop Smith in 1985 and in 1992 Bishop Milton A Williams visited India and his love for work in India enabled us to continue the AME Zion Ministry in India till today, we are thankful to him. There have been many miraculous milestones that God has enabled us through these long and adventurous spiritual journey in winning souls for Christ. The establishment of the AME Zion Church in India was the first and a great milestone.
There was a split of the AME Zion Church when Rev. Herbert left the AME Zion Church With Rev. Cherry. Following the crises after Rev. Herbert, The Church too had gone through rough days. When no one else would stand for Zion, Me and My Wife Florence decided we would. At the cost of family. God gave us grace to stand with the AME Zion Church during those tough and difficult days after which Bishop Williams appointed me as the Presiding Elder and My Wife Mrs. Florence was appointed as the conference field worker and district president for WHOMS.
The AME ZION CHURCH INDIA has trod the trackless wild making and finding roadways to where we have reached. The ups and downs have been challenging and at times intimidating to the extent of crushing us to death but it was God's abiding Faithfulness and His promises that saw us through.
Today,
The AME ZION CHURCH has grown exponentially and is reaching the very heart of INDIA ..Village by Village...State by State...Tribe by Tribe...One Day a at Time...One Step at a Time!

Our mission is to spread the good news of Gospel to the unreached. through evangelism, church planting, mass meetings. outreach, children and youth camps. We are striving to find new strategies for dealing with this current covid challenges. Through the difficulties, We see that God is doing a new thing, open new doors and breaking new ground!
