Christian Education
DOING WHAT’S NEEDED-
PSALM 78:4,6-7
WE WILL TELL THE NEXT GENERATION THE PRAISEWORTHY DEEDS OF THE LORD, HIS POWER, AND THE WONDERS HE HAS DONE.
SO THE NEXT GENERATION WOULD KNOW THEM, EVEN THE CHILDREN YET TO BE BORN, AND THEY IN TURN WOULD TELL THEIR CHILDREN.
THEN THEY WOULD PUT THEIR TRUST IN GOD AND WOULD NOT FORGET HIS DEEDS BUT WOULD KEEP HIS COMMANDS.
We facilitate training, guidance and running of the educational and Christian training programs, support and nurture of children, youth and young adults through the various departments of Christian educations. We periodically conduct seminars, conferences and enrichment workshops for youth and young adults. Children get to have retreats, picnics and camps for children. We undertake translation on minimal basis of good and potential teaching material, literature and teaching aids from other organisations. Most of our efforts pertaining to this program involve studying new approaches and developing innovative ways to implement them.

IT IS MORE BLESSED TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE.
Though the Indian Christian population is just over 3% today 80% of Indian education comes from Christian institutions and 60% of Indian medical help comes from Christian Hospitals and Medical Institutions. It is no exaggeration to say that in India as it is all over the World, Christianity is synonymous to Charity and truly someone has Aptly quoted 'Christianity, thy name is Charity.'
The AME Zion Church in India has well earned its name in charity, education and welfare programs. Though AME Zion Church runs on limited financial resources, yet. because the need of the nation is bleeding and desperate, the Women's department of AME ZION CHURCH India has undertaken many women and child welfare programs. Some to mention here are Free School, periodically conducted Free Medical Camps, Adult Literacy Program for AME Zion Church members and self-help and vocational programs. All of them, rather most of them were stopped midway due to the lack of finances and monetary support.
Evangelism
SEEK AND SAVE THE LOST
India being one of the most holiest pilgrimage centers. Evangelism has to be carefully and strategically organized. We have been able to make progressive steps in a steady manner through literature, personal witnessing.
The Churches in all Districts are constantly engaged in evangelism through various methods. The primary medium being gospel mass meeting. Other methods being street preaching, door-to-door tract distribution and special community Christmas meetings to reach the unreached during the festive season.
